About Us...

The Tennessee River Baptist Association consists of 41 churches located north and west of the Tennessee River in Jackson County, Alabama. We exist to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ by fulfilling His Great Commission and Great Commandments.

Every church in our association is completely autonomous and independently decides how much to contribute and participate in association sponsored events, ministries, and training. Our offices are located on U.S. 72 between Scottsboro and Stevenson. We try hard to be a resource center and an equipping center to enable each of our churches to be a missions center.

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Alabama Baptist Convention. Through our joint participation in the Cooperative Program, we have over 5,000 missionaries on the field in North America and over 5,000 missionaries in foreign countries.
